I think it’s sad that someone who is mediocre and boring, Imo, wants fame so much that her life’s ambition (at forty-something) is to publish a book which has probably not even been written yet. Then to promote it on a talk show. I’ll bet it has a title tho, probably ‘in which I wrote a book’. How am I doing so far?
Do you really think the market will bear fruit for yet another uninspired, anecdotal, cliche account of the life of the average American housewife? I sure hope not. She doesn’t talk about anything we haven’t already heard before nor does she talk about these common topics in a new and interesting way. No, it’s the same old schtick.
Here’s my biggest problem — she has already chosen motherhood and now, by her own admission, she is ‘always forgetting’ her child. While I believe that true art is worth sacrificing much so that it might come to exist, this woman simply does not fit the bill nor is the growth and development of one’s child an acceptable thing to sacrifice for art, let alone low-level fame.
So yes, I agree, she is ‘all fooked up’ but not very entertaining. At least not to anyone but other aging housewives.
P.S. Using the words ‘in which’ at the beginning of every post title is an unsophisticated, generic brand at best and childish and narcissistic at worst -something I might expect to see from a psychotic tween, perhaps. Not to mention it is annoying as hell.
P.P.S. Did you write the lyrics for Rebecca Black’s Friday too?
P.P.P.S. Guess you had ‘better get used to’ this as well.
