According to the satanic bible, there is no such thing. While I am NOT a satanist, I have read their “bible”, as I am a student of all faiths. They swayed me just a little with this concept until I found out that they believe in satan without also believing in god which is when I knew they were imbecilic crazies but let’s wait for another day to ridicule them. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day and in my view this is certainly one of those times.
According to the satanic bible, no matter what a person does it is always for himself. It stated that even giving one’s life so that another might live is a selfish act. Although many believe that such is the ultimate sacrifice, whomever gives his life for another does so because he wants that person to live therefore it is still based on personal desire.
I find it hard to argue against it because how many people would ever really want that? I certainly wouldn’t. There would be no way I could live with it.
It’s just something I think about. On a side note, the book re-sold on half for $5.00 even though someone literally stabbed it while it was still in the possession of the previous owner. I understand that such an item would evoke strong, often negative emotion in many people but it’s still strange to me that someone would do that.
